Peskin Aide, David Noyola e-mailed me to say that the time of the hearing was set by Chris Daly.      Oh, shit.     How do I spin that kind of massive error?      Call Daly first.
Daly confirms I’m an errant asshole on this one.   Twas Chris who set the time that way so that he could have a rally with his people at 4pm.       Hmmmm.

That’s walking in front of a bus for a columnist.       Can it really be a good thing if Daly schedules a meeting for 5pm and bad if Aaron does it?       Is up, down?       Should I be censured?

No way out.       I have to claim it was the demon liquor that made me do it or just apologize.      Not wanting to cast aspersions upon any product that has done as much
for the world as Tennessee corn liquor, I’ll do the latter.
