 Watching City Hall #278, (4-30-04)
If they knew how much fun I was having here, theyd have killed me long ago.
(A giggling Richard Speck he who murdered 8 student nurses in Chicago while starring a porn movie being made in prison)
Lets put this idea of life in prison being an appropriate punishment for special circumstances murderers. Let me put down a few basic facts and you
you think about them.
David Hill will be welcomed with open-arms and high-fives when he arrives at San Quentin.
The worse the criminal, the easier prison is for them. For a gang member who killed a cop? Shit, hell get sex, drugs & respect from day one; even the guards will be afraid to touch him. Hell be too well connected. Hell probably be defended by Tony Serra or Johnny Cochrane
maybe both!
Know why the guy said he didnt remember if he shot a cop? Cause gangster kids train each other beginning with their first incarceration that the best way to avoid maximum punishment is to improve your placement. You do this by getting yourself classified as suicidal (scrape your arms a bit) and insane. Its all a scam.
He can still kill while imprisoned.
He can kill other inmates, or he can order killings through gang members on the outside. Recall how ole Cornfed used a couple of pervert lawyers to breed a herd of killer dogs to guard hoodlums on the outside? When two of the dogs killed a teacher, no one even suggested that Cornfed be prosecuted for the murder.
Joefire is right
D.A. Kamala Harris should realize that as long as she refuses to either change her stance on special circumstance cases or pass them on to a jurisdiction that will energetically seek the death penalty, there is a target on every cop in town.
And, every witness.
The families of witnesses.
The families of victims. These people dont cease to be a danger to society just because theyre behind bars.
Also, I dont know why theyre hiding Hills face from the public. Hes no longer a juvenile. ... Shit, usually the defendant has to hold something over their own face sos other past victims wont recognize them and come forward.
On an aside, (important to me) I still dont know if the guy was one of my students in 95. That matters to me. If so, it gives me more ammo to attack SFUSD for canceling the programs I had that were successful at diverting gangstah kids before it was too late.
Oh, I wasnt special. SFUSD has killed better programs than mine. Programs like Urban Pioneers, which was killed by Superintendent Arlene Ackerman last year.
What society should do
Every cop, firefighter, soldier and other front-line warrior who goes out to protect us should realize that if they pay the ultimate price, their family (INCLUDING domestic partners) should get a million bucks tax free. Its nothing compared to their loss, but its a hell of a lot better than whats happening now. If George Bush and his oil cronies can spend 87 billion dollars in one year stealing arab oil, they can afford one billion for every thousand troops who get killed helping them. Hell, extend it to all victims of terrorism. They can fund it by rolling back the tax breaks on the upper 2% of the population. Its the least they can do.
Another really bad deal
Trade me 10 dollars for 70 cents? Thats Phil Manganos deal for the homeless. Hes in town this week visiting our homeless & offering them (all of the homeless in the country)
offering them 70 million dollars in exchange for 1,000 million dollars.
Gavin Newsom loves it.
That really shouldnt surprise you. He offered the people a deal that offered them $59 for $410.
Well, he didnt really offer it to them. He asked the voters if they wanted to vote to take cash away from the poorest and they agreed.
They loved the idea.
Lord, people suck.
I smell something in the air
what can it be?
oh, yeah, I remember that smell
its gunpowder!
Whos really at fault?
The rich.
Really.
Who do you think profits by spending less on the lowest earners in society?
Why, its the rich.
Take Walter Shorenstein, for example. When 55 corporations sued the City because they didnt want to pay any taxes
12 of the corporations were owned by Walter Shorenstein.
Now, dont take this as a personal threat, Walter.
Im not that kind of guy.
But, Walter, the chickens will come home to roost.
They always do: |
